I try to play the game of StarCraft to I have two laptops each connected to a USB to serial converter, null-modem cable and two adapters gender (for the parameter null-modem) with all of a group of computers COM port can not throw to to run!

Why do you do it that way, simply use a crossover cable to the Ethernet port on any computer. Much easier and you will achieve a much better performance.
